Sick and tired of the lowering quality and standards of radio, and mainstream media in general, PuggleFM was born from a desire to provide parents with a refreshing alternative to the existing poor offerings currently provided by commercial radio.

We care less about what celebrity has just lost her baby weight, or the latest sport scandal - but we great greatly about the health and well-being of our families, our children's education, planning for our children's next birthday party, laughing about the madness of parenthood - there is SO much content out there that parents find valuable, and it’s such a shame no one has been able to cater for us and our needs and offer that on a "traditional" media outlet" said Charlie Caruso, Founder and CEO of PuggleFM.
Since its launch online on July 18th 2012, PuggleFM attracted a much larger following than could have even been imagined. Setting an average over 118,000 monthly page views, regularly featuring in the top downloaded podcasts on iTunes, PuggleFM's values and core focus on integrity and credibility seems to have resonated with the thousands that tune in on a daily basis. Attracting a large international audience, with many regular listeners from the US, Europe and Asia, it seems that what had originally been a frustration at the Australian media standards, is not a localised phenomenon.
"I think our international audience (and the fact we haven’t partook in any marketing campaign, locally or internationally) speaks a million words in stating the very obvious - parents are demanding more! Which means I will work my very hardest to continue working on PuggleFM and the content we provide parents to ensure we keep on providing them with the content they enjoy and keep sending that message to the rest of the media"
2013 hopes to be our most exciting year yet, with a new website rollout and the launch of our IOS apps as well as 5 new presenters to join the PuggleFM presenting crew. We have also began to consider working with and introducing podcast sponsors, however are treating this decision with careful consideration, not wanting to lose our way like the many blogs, and media outlets. Basically we will only be partnering with brands that parents love, enjoy hearing from and can benefit from their promotions, discounts and new products - for PuggleFM parents - only the very best will do.... that's because they deserve a media alternative that cares about their interests over commercial success.
