Coffee, tattoos, and pug dogs - these are just a few of Scott’s favourite things!

After graduating from Monash University, Scott quickly began his career in marketing, climbing the corporate ladder until he secured a brand management role for one of Australia’s most iconic youth brands. Following his sweet success, Scott opted for a change in pace and migrated over to the world of PR where he managed a number of large accounts in consumer brands.

With his newly found entrepreneurial spirit, Scott teamed up with long-standing friend and university alumnus, Stacey Taylor, to create BlackSixteen - a communications agency with a distinctive Gen Y edge. Scott and Stacey sought to redefine society’s perception of Generation Y and demonstrate the value of young blood in an old industry.

When Scott isn’t working, he is busy caring for his pug, Charlie, or taking a shameless selfie (or two!).

For Melbourne gal, Stacey Taylor, corporate life sucks!

After graduating University, Stacey volunteered at a handful of not-for-profit organisations. Following her reputable charity work, Stacey proceeded to represent a number of Australian brands within the beauty industry.

Her passion for local brands inspired Stacey to explore Melbourne’s underground music scene and freelance as a publicist. Her exposure to new genres strengthened her love for music and lead to a number of promotional affiliations.

With her love for unconventional working styles recognised, Stacey collaborated with former university colleague, Scott Broome, to create BlackSixteen.

As a twenty-something professional, Stacey sought to redefine society’s perception of Generation Y and establish a modern working environment with a contemporary youthful culture and flat hierarchal structure.

When not taking the PR world by storm, Stacey can be found enjoying a cheeky glass of red with friends and family in the Mornington Peninsula.
